What's A Flower Baron?
Ein Blumenbaron. ('A Flower Baron')—it's an expression from the German idiom, in a sarcastic manner, referring to a usually older man who makes a fool out of himself courting a much younger woman. He wears expensive suits, flashes gold rings, drives a fancy car, and brings her bouquets of flowers. Typically, she's either not interested, or she's taking him for a ride. There are lots of interesting scenarios, and I chose to explore a typical example in this short story.
